Device custom fields allow you to store any kind of information about your devices directly within your TeamViewer device list.

This feature enhances device management by providing a centralized place for all relevant details, making it easier to organize and access device information. Device custom fields are particularly beneficial for large organizations with numerous devices to manage.

This article applies to Premium, Corporate, and Tensor license holders.

As a company administrator, you must grant your users the respective permissions via device management permissions so they can update device custom fields on their own.

Note: As an administrator, you must assign yourself the necessary permissions to use custom device fields, as these are not granted by default. This step is required for existing managed devices. For newly managed devices, permissions for custom fields will be granted automatically when the device is managed.
