Sometimes you may be asked to locate your TeamViewer log files and send them to TeamViewer to help solve a problem. You can submit them to us with a ticket from our website: Customer Support

📌Please note that we always need the log files of both connection partners. Additionally, we need the approximate time when the problem occurred.
The easiest way to find the log files is using TeamViewer (Classic)'s built-in method, as follows:
On Linux, the log files are collected and placed into a ZIP file from the command line. Please run the following command:
sudo teamviewer ziplog
By default, the TeamViewer log files can be found in these locations:
TeamViewer Full Version and Host:
C:\Program Files (x86)\TeamViewer
TeamViewer QuickSupport:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\TeamViewer
TeamViewer Full Version, Host, and QuickSupport:
In the menu bar, go to Help ➜ Open log files.
Note: To access TeamViewer logs on macOS, you must be signed in to an administrator account.
To find the Log files (Console logs) for the Web Client, please follow the steps for your browser:
1) Open the Developer Tools by clicking Ctrl-Shift-I or making a right-click anywhere on the page and click Inspect
2) Switch to the Console Tab
3) Save the Logs by right clicking your mouse and choose Save As
1) Open the Developer Tools clicking the hamburger menu button (1) and select Web Developer option from the drop down (2):
2) Open Web Console by choosing Web Console from the options. Here the Console tab will open
3) Save the logs by selecting the console log text, copy and paste it to any text editor (for example, Notepad) and save it as a text file.
1) Open the Developer Tools by pressing F12, or in the top right corner of the page click the ... button to open the settings (1), choose More tools option (2) and then Developer tools (3):
2) Switch to the Console tab
3) Save the logs.
Prerequisite: Enable Apple Safari Develop menu. By default, the Develop menu in Safari is disabled. To enable it, open the Safari menu and choose Preferences option --> Advanced --> Put a checkmark for Show Develop menu --> Make sure that you see the Develop menu between the Windows menus and the Bookmarks.
Close the Preferences. The Develop menu should now appear in the menubar.
1) Open the Developer Tools by clicking the Develop menu (1) and then Show Web Inspector (2)
2) Switch to the Console tab
3) Save the logs. Before saving the logs, put a checkmark for Preserve Log (1), make sure that you have selected filter for All (2) and click the Clear log (3) button, as shown below:
Reproduce the issue you are facing. Now the console activity is recorded.
Select text in console using Cmd+A hotkey or right-click at any place in the console content, and choose Copy Selected:
1) Open the Developer Tools by making a right click at any place on your page, and choose Inspect element from the options:
2) Switch to the Console tab
3) Save the logs.
