With TeamViewer, you can connect and remotely support mobile devices from another mobile device or the desktop.

This article applies to all free or licensed users with MDS (Mobile device support).

How to set up the remote mobile device

On the remote mobile device (the device receiving the connection), you must download and install the TeamViewer QuickSupport app.

  1. Go to the Play Store app.
  2. In the search bar, type TeamViewer QuickSupport.
  3. Download and install the TeamViewer QuickSupport app on your mobile device.
  4. Open the TeamViewer QuickSupport app.
  5. Accept the EULA and DPA by clicking Agree and continue.

You have successfully set up your remote Android device.

  1. Go to the App Store app.
  2. In the search bar, type TeamViewer QuickSupport.
  3. Download and install the TeamViewer QuickSupport app on your mobile device.
  4. Open the TeamViewer QuickSupport app.
  5. Accept the EULA and DPA by clicking the respective toggle and Continue.

You have successfully set up your remote iOS device.

How to connect to the remote mobile device

You can connect to your remote mobile device from a mobile device or your desktop.

To connect to a mobile device from your mobile device, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Download and install the TeamViewer Remote Control app from the App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.
  2. Open the TeamViewer Remote Control app.
  3. Go to the Computers tab and sign in to your TeamViewer account.
  4. Go to the Connect tab, enter the ID displayed on the remote device's QuickSupport app, and tap Remote Control.
  5. The end user will receive a notification within the QuickSupport app that someone is trying to connect and taps Allow access.
  6. End users will get a final confirmation pop-up.
    • On Android, the end user will see a pop-up asking if they want to share their screen and must click Start now (or similar).
    • On iOS, the end user will see a pop-up asking if they want to start Screen Broadcast and must click Start Broadcast.

The supporter can now start to control the remote device.

To connect to a mobile device from your desktop, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Open TeamViewer or sign in to https://web.teamviewer.com/.
  2. Go to Remote Support.
  3. Within the Provide support section, enter the ID displayed on the remote device's QuickSupport app and click Connect.
  4. The end user will receive a notification within the QuickSupport app that someone is trying to connect and taps Allow access.
  5. End users will get a final confirmation pop-up.
    • On Android, the end user will see a pop-up asking if they want to share their screen and must click Start now (or similar).
    • On iOS, the end user will see a pop-up asking if they want to start Screen Broadcast and must click Start Broadcast
