The information below illustrates the prerequisites for Vision Picking. You will learn how to import the workflow and import the data for your picking tasks in the Connector.

Download the following resources:

Import the workflow:

  1. Sign in to Frontline Command Center with a user that has a Creator role.
  2. Open the Navigation Pane on the top left of your Dashboard and click on Creator under Platform Tools.
  3. Open the File menu, hover over Extras and then click on Import.

Note: For more information, go to Frontline Creator.

Accessing Shared Properties:

  1. Click anywhere on the workflow flowchart without selecting any specific component or template.
  2. In the Configuration Panel on the right, select the Shared Properties tab.

This section displays all the properties for the Generic Picking Workflow.

Note: You can enable options like Pick Amount Fraction and Countdown Mode from this section.

Publish the workflow:

Once the workflow is imported, click on Publish on the Workflow Property Panel on the screen's right side.

Import the pick order:

  1. After the workflow has been saved and published successfully, sign in to the Frontline Command Center with a user with an Pick role.
  2. Click on Pick on your Dashboard.
  3. Follow the steps described here in the Pick documentation.

Create a task template:

  1. After the workflow has been imported, saved, and published with sample data, a task template needs to be created in order to make the data available within the Frontline Workplace app on smart glasses.
  2. Sign in to Frontline Command Center with a user that has an Pick role.
  3. Click on Pick on your Dashboard.
  4. Follow the steps described here in the Pick documentation.

Prepare the smart glasses:

  1. The picking tasks can be executed by the Frontline Worker on the smart glasses via the Frontline Workplace app.
  2. Follow the steps to install and set up Frontline Workplace on smart glasses described here.
