In TeamViewer, there are two different ways to display your Devices list: the Basic view and the Advanced view. This article will guide you through the features of each view, helping you decide which one best suits your needs. Whether you're looking for a simple, streamlined display or a more detailed overview of your devices and groups, you'll find the right option here.

Basic view  

This view is ideal for users who want to see groups and devices displayed in a logical order primarily for connecting. It also allows for administrative actions. Within groups, bulk selection is possible.

You can expand or collapse groups to customize your view and quickly access the devices you need. The recent connections and all managed devices sections make it easier for you to find frequently used devices.

You can enable the basic view on the top left corner of the Devices section.

Advanced view

With the advanced view in TeamViewer, you can see & manage your devices per device type. 

All managed devices will give you an overview of all devices you directly or indirectly (i.e. n case you are manager of a device group where a device belongs) manage. 

Click Bookmarked devices to see all devices that you are not managing, but that you have manually added to your list.

In the Migration required section, you’ll find all devices that are running under the old device management system. Make sure to migrate these devices by following the step described here.

To get the list of all devices you recently connected to, click Recent connections.

This view is ideal for administrative actions since you can use the All managed devices list for single or bulk management actions.

You can do the same on device group level: All your groups are listed on the left-hand side for quick access. If you need an overview of every group, simply click the See all button to get a full view of your entire device structure.
