TeamViewer welcomed customers, partners, and industry leaders to our Experience Day during the F1 Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, centered on the theme: "Optimizing Operational Technology (OT): The Software-Driven Future of Industrial Innovation."

As an official partner and a technical ally of The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, we showcased how our technology helps the Team remotely connect across factory floors, offices, and racetracks – anywhere in the world.

Sojung Lee, President of TeamViewer Asia Pacific, kicked off the event by emphasizing the importance of the Asia-Pacific region, and China specifically, in TeamViewer's global strategy. Mei Dent, Chief Product and Technology Officer, presented on how AI technology can help enterprises improve efficiency by optimizing processes and creating smarter workflows all while remaining innovative during this critical period of digital transformation.

The event culminated in a panel discussion where TeamViewer CEO Oliver Steil joined leaders from Siemens and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team to explore how IT/OT convergence, remote connectivity and automation can empower companies to boost efficiency and stay competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

“We are constantly developing the technical capabilities used by Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team to improve our enterprise-grade solutions, helping Chinese customers gain the opportunity to 'overtake on the digital curve' in global competition,” Steil said.

Overall, the event highlighted how cross-industry collaboration and real-world use cases are paving the way for a smarter, more connected industrial future. As we continue to grow in the Asia-Pacific market, we look forward to supporting more enterprises on their digital transformation journey – driving agility, productivity, and long-term growth.
