Kai Werner is the global Chief Human Resources Officer and Group General Counsel at TeamViewer. In this role, he oversees all HR-related activities and is responsible for Legal, Compliance and Data Protection, thereby playing a key role in ensuring TeamViewer’s continued success as a global technology leader.

Since joining TeamViewer in 2020 as Group General Counsel, Kai has been instrumental in successfully establishing the company’s structures following its IPO, with a focus on corporate governance and data management. He played a key role in setting up TeamViewer’s European company structure (SE) and World Works Council, thereby enabling effective employee representation on a global level. With his extensive expertise in capital markets, he also played a key role in the corporate and strategic positioning of the group.

Before his time at TeamViewer, Kai worked in the capital markets team at Freshfields, where he advised on high-profile transactions and regulatory matters. He earned his Dr. jur. from the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg and holds an LL.M. degree from Duke University.
