TeamViewer recently completed the Target Gender Equality Accelerator, a nine-month programme offered to companies participating in the United Nations Global Compact, who are looking to set and reach ambitious corporate targets for women’s representation, equal pay and leadership in business. The program provides analysis, tools and guidance to help companies deepen their implementation of the Women’s Empowerment Principles and to strengthen their contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Over the past nine months, TeamViewer developed an action plan to strengthen the promotion of equity in corporate leadership, fair treatment at work, employee well-being, career advancement, enterprise development, community initiatives, and progress measurement.

“TeamViewer’s participation in this program underscores our strong commitment to gender equity,” said Patricia Leppert, Team Manager Customer Trust & Security and Lead of the Equity Working Group at TeamViewer.

“Gender equity - defined as the fair and just distribution of benefits and responsibilities among all genders—is essential for creating a balanced and productive work environment. For TeamViewer, this is an ongoing journey, and while we’ve made progress, we recognize there is always more work to be done to continuously improve and drive meaningful change.”

“Fostering equity within our company is part of the larger goal,” said Kai Werner, CHRO & Group General Counsel at TeamViewer. “Beyond achieving internal goals, we’re committed to inspiring the next generation of women to enter the tech field. Through initiatives in schools in the US and Germany like the Cyber Robotics Competition as well as partnerships with universities to promote tech careers, we are working to create pathways for young women, empowering them to pursue careers in technology. These efforts help drive systemic change, contributing to a more inclusive, innovative, and diverse industry."
