Sharp partners with TeamViewer to deliver best-in-class remote support to customers

Goppingen, May 19, 2020– Sharp Europe today announces that it has entered into partnership with TeamViewer®, the market leading remote access technology company. The partnership will enable Sharp’s software partners to easily connect via TeamViewer to selected displays and support customers’ visual solutions needs through remote management.

The best-in-class remote technology allows full remote control of a screen including installing and uninstalling apps remotely, reviewing device configuration at a glance and exchanging files with the display as well as other remote access features which can be accessed at any time and from any connected device.

TeamViewer’s service, support and device management solutions are available for any of Sharp’s displays with an Android driven System on Chip (SoC) processor. These include the Sharp Smart Signage and BIG PAD models, including the latest displays with 4K resolution. As of now 13 Sharp displays support the TeamViewer technology.
