ADELAIDE, April 7, 2022 – TeamViewer®, a global leading provider of remote connectivity and workplace digitalisation solutions, today announced the launch of its new Australian and New Zealand office in Adelaide. This coincides with the tenth anniversary of the company’s operations in Australia, serving both customers as well as an ecosystem of strong alliances, including channel partners, distributors and resellers in Australia and New Zealand.
TeamViewer continues to go from strength to strength in supporting its growing customer base in digitally transforming their businesses and optimising processes with new technologies. Indeed, starting with a remote access and IT support software in 2005, TeamViewer now offers powerful enterprise connectivity solutions and innovates in the field of augmented reality for frontline workers.
During the past years, TeamViewer has not only broadened its solution portfolio but also increased the number of employees around the globe. Currently, Adelaide hosts 60% of the TeamViewer APAC team. The company also emphasises equality in its recruitment, resulting in a workforce that is 49% female. In the local management team, the ratio is as high as 46% male and 54% female.
TeamViewer’s customers in Australia range from governmental organisations to enterprises in financial services, mining, and the utilities sector. In Adelaide, TeamViewer benefits from a combination of strong business contacts, excellent infrastructure and residents with diverse backgrounds and language skills, which are important elements in recruiting customer support staff across APAC.
