As mentioned before, the 3D Models added in a scene are not visible in the Spatial Workplace app by default. To make the whole model or certain parts of it visible, add a Scene State node to the Workflow.
1. Click on Connector on the top menu of the Editor. The Connector is a 2D representation of all the items added to the Workflow and the connections between them. The Connector pane opens next to the main scene.
2. Model Placement node should already appear in the Connector. It is automatically created when the respective reference is added to the Scene. Since the Spatial Reference is important for placing the content in the real world correctly, it should be the first item loaded when running a Workflow.
3. Connect the Workflow Start node to the Model Placement node by clicking on the Out of the first node and dragging it to the In of the second node.
4. To change the visibility of the model, use a Scene State node. Inside the Connector window, click on Add. then select Scene State node.
5. Click on the node to select it.
6. On the right, click on Add Scene Modifier, then choose Visible.
7. In the same section, click on Add Targets and select the parts.
8. To make the whole model visible in this example, open the Scene Explorer on the left, select the top assembly, and press Enter.
⇒The selected model is now highlighted in the scene.
Note: To select one of the parts/models that are in one piece, simply click on the part/model on the scene and press Enter.
Note: To select multiple parts, select them from the Scene Explorer on the left by pressing down Ctrl and clicking on the desired parts.
Note: If a node is selected in the Connector when adding the next node, the two nodes will automatically be connected. If not, the new node will appear somewhere close to the workflow start and should be moved and connected as needed manually.
⇒ Now the Scene State will make the whole model visible for the Workplace app. The next step is to add content to the Workflow.
