Göppingen, Germany, February 24, 2021 – TeamViewer, a leading global provider of secure remote connectivity solutions, today announced its partnership with STAUFEN.DIGITAL NEONEX, a leading management consultancy for smart factories and innovative solutions. The collaboration will drive the digitalization of factories significantly as STAUFEN.DIGITAL NEONEX will be able to integrate TeamViewer IoT and AR solutions right in the process of digitalizing whole factories or single processes.
The automation of manufacturing processes and the interconnectivity of machinery is proving its value already. The demand for smart factories is on the rise and the COVID situation in 2020 has shown the clear benefits of automation and remote accessibility. No matter if it’s in supply chain management, logistics or manufacturing, reducing the need to travel and room for human errors are key elements in the digital transformation process. STAUFEN.DIGITAL NEONEX is now able to empower their customers, like Danfoss or Mabe, with TeamViewer IoT and AR solutions while being the reliable driver for smart factories. TeamViewer IoT and AR solutions are capable of monitoring greenfield as well as brownfield machines, as they work independent of OEMs. Both solutions will enable custom alarms, AI-based data analytics, remote connectivity to the machines and AR-guidance with workflows as well as remote AR-support on smartglasses and smartphones, in case of the need for human interaction. TeamViewer will benefit from NEONEX’s in-depth industry expertise and its ability to raise awareness of connectivity solutions. Together, the partner companies aim to develop further use cases for IoT and AR solutions in the manufacturing industry.
Lukas Baur, Executive Vice President, Solution Sales at TeamViewer, explains: “With STAUFEN.DIGITAL NEONEX we have a global player based in Swabia, like us, on board. Their focus on smart factories feels like a natural fit. We see great potential in the implementation of our solutions in the very beginning of the digital transformation projects STAUFEN.DIGITAL NEONEX is driving. With our highly adaptable TeamViewer solutions portfolio we can enable a whole range of use cases and are not limited to a specific industry.”
Thomas Rohrbach, Managing Director at NEONEX adds: “TeamViewer is a full-stack provider with a solid reputation amongst operations and IT departments. With its holistic solutions at hand, it will get much easier to open up the world of IoT and AR to both SMEs and corporations. The partnership is a chance to accelerate transformation processes and to deliver additional benefits to our clients.”
