TeamViewer appoints Roger Illing as SVP Enterprise

Goeppingen, November 27, 2018– TeamViewer®, a global leader in secure remote connectivity solutions, has appointed Roger Illing as Senior Vice President (SVP) Enterprise to its leadership team. With more than 20 years of executive experience at global enterprise software leaders, he will be a key driver for TeamViewer’s enterprise and Internet of Things (IoT) strategy development as well as implementation with best-in-class solutions. The high-ranking hire in a newly established senior leadership position reflects and will further add to the strong momentum TeamViewer’s dedicated enterprise suite TeamViewer Tensor has seen since launch in September 2018.

Roger Illing brings an exceptional track record in growing enterprise software businesses to TeamViewer. Most recently, he has been Managing Director and SVP Enterprise Sales Europe at OpenText, where he was responsible for enterprise license, maintenance, cloud, and professional services revenue across Europe. Prior to that, he served for more than ten years in senior leadership roles at Software AG including SVP Corporate Strategy, SVP Vertical Sales, and General Manager Germany. Illing started his career at Novell and holds a Dipl. degree in Chemical Engineering.
