  • At the booth, TeamViewer showcases secure remote access to production equipment and AR-based smart services for aftersales, among other use cases

GOPPINGEN/ GERMANY, 27. March 2025 – At the Hannover Messe 2025, TeamViewer is showcasing its advanced spatial computing solution for lean industrial training and onboarding processes. As a global leader in digital workplace solutions including industrial Augmented Reality (AR), TeamViewer demonstrates how customers from industries such as aerospace, automotive and mechanical engineering are enhancing their global training programs.

For example, GE Aerospace, a leading supplier of aircraft engines, is using the solution as a joint customer of TeamViewer and its technology partner Siemens. Based on TeamViewer Frontline Spatial, interactive digital twins of GE Aerospace’s commercial engines are provided to aircraft technicians via AR technology, enabling high-quality, cost-efficient, and detailed remote training across hundreds of locations worldwide. At Hannover Messe, Jaswinder Walia, Executive Director & CIO Engineering at GE Aerospace, will discuss the benefits of spatial computing and present their particular use case on a panel together with Tony Hemmelgarn, President and Chief Executive Officer at Siemens Digital Industries, and TeamViewer’s CEO Oliver Steil (Monday, March 31, 14:30 CET, Siemens booth, Hall 9, Booth 53).

Oliver Steil, CEO at TeamViewer, says: “Spatial computing opens unprecedented opportunities for the engineering sector. Through digitalized remote and on-site learning, companies can deploy resources more efficiently, mitigate shortage of skilled labor and reduce travel and costs. Together with our partners, we provide a holistic 3D user experience to bring engineering data to life and enable intuitive access for technicians and frontline workers around the world.” Spatial Computing will also be part of Oliver Steil’s keynote about aftersales service in manufacturing (Monday, March 31, 15:30–16:00 CET, Digital Transformation Stage, Hall 17, E44).

Alongside the spatial computing use cases that can be explored first-hand at the booth (Hall 14, Booth H70) through a Formula One race car engine and 3D models of an industrial scale, TeamViewer will showcase major portfolio advancements of:

  • Shopfloor access: Manufacturers see the need to enable remote access for suppliers or OEMs to their critical OT systems. At the same time, regulations such as NIS2 and growing cybersecurity threats call for a single, highly secure remote connectivity solution that spans both IT and OT environments. Experience how TeamViewer provides a zero-trust solution for remote access and remote support use cases in production environments.
  • AR for aftersales and logistics: Experience how TeamViewer’s AR-based workflow and remote assistance solutions make technical field service and warehouse picking smarter and more efficient.
  • Future of the digital workplace: The interplay of TeamViewer’s advanced remote connectivity capabilities, latest developments in AI and Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management tools show how the future of support for the digital workplace looks like. Experience how digital friction can be automatically detected and remediated and how IT service desk teams can leverage the power of AI to streamline and optimize operations, reduce downtime and costs and improve the digital user experience.
  • Technology partnerships: TeamViewer is presenting its collaboration and joint solutions within the global tech ecosystem at the booths of its technology partners SAP, Microsoft, and Siemens. For example, Artus Rupalla, Director of Product Management, and Sascha Ballweg, Senior Product Manager at TeamViewer, will speak about “Supercharging Frontline and Business Workforces with AI-Powered Smart Services and Seamless IT/OT Connectivity” at the Microsoft booth (Thursday, April 3, 15:30-15:50 CET, Microsoft booth, Hall 17, Booth G06).
